Many of our shareholders will have seen news reports of the claims being made by a large number of UK-based holiday-makers who have booked into Cape Verde Resorts through TUI. The Board of Dunas Beach Limited met last week (29th January). The expected revenue from the 310 properties that are now part of the Company meanse that at the next meeting in April, the Directors will plan to consider a shareholder dividend. The Directors were able to report on a small initial profit for the Company. The Directors have announced that on the 2nd January 2026 they acquired interests in 310 properties on the Dunas estate. All of the properties benefit from monthly lease agreements bringing increased income to the Company. This now means that Dunas Beach Limited is the largest single property owner on the Dunas estate, and holds interests in approximately 25% of all rooms.
